However, I do not consider HTTPS alone a guarantee that a website is trustworthy. A malicious website can also use HTTPS. Therefore, I always believe it is important to check the website address carefully and avoid entering sensitive information into unfamiliar websites.

Good security reduces these risks.

My Basic Approach to Staying Secure Online
For me, good internet security starts with simple habits.
I keep my operating system and applications updated. I use strong and unique passwords. I enable two factor authentication on important accounts. I avoid suspicious links and unexpected attachments. I download software from trustworthy sources. I pay attention to website addresses before entering sensitive information.
I also believe backups are important. If something goes wrong, having a separate backup of important files can make recovery much easier.
